I decided to go sweet this week for Julia’s challenge. She gave us … Mother Nature was telling me something …
So here are my thoughts, and why not head over to http://www.juliasplace.org.uk to see what other people have made of the prompt?
Mother Nature was telling me something. And not just me.
We stood there, just looking at each other. Locker doors slammed and kids pushed past.
My eyes were drawn to Antony’s lips. His eyes were lower. My chest level.
His lips parted. “So, will you … gooutwithmetonight?” A rush of words, barely understandable.
Heat rose up my neck into the roots of my hair. I’d never had a boy ask me out before. I nodded.
He shrugged. Opened those lips again. “But I can’t stay out late. Me mam wants me home by 10 on a school night.”
Haha! I was just picturing the scene with two adults and the same outcome.

I do struggle writing sweet. I kept wanting to twist the end.

I thought it was sweet. It’s just that my mind tends to go into overdrive sometimes.

It is SO addictive. I had to actually wean myself off the game because I was forever on the damned thing. But it’s fantastic for those sleepless nights and a great relaxer. Glad you’re enjoying it.
Hope you have a good night too.

Do you make your own pictures to play on it? I’ve saved some photos from pixabay.com and they’ve converted fairly well.

I’ve done a few photos of friends and family and sent them out to them. Surprised at how well those came out. But usually download different categories, so Gothic and pop art for example. Black and white ones come out the best but gets tedious after all. Haven’t been on pixabay, so will give that a go.

I really like landscapes. I find they come out quite well cos there’s not too much detail

Watercolours are my absolute favourites to do. Subtle yet bold colours.

Thanks Sheila. There was a lot I wanted to do with this, but with just 100 words, this was as far as I could go. Still, it’s the germ of a longer story, maybe.
